In 2006, the Battistini family decided to turn that dream into reality: to combine experience, commitment and heart to carry out a project that would tell, through food, the true soul of Romagna.
The journey begins at Casa delle Aie, a place that has been guarding Cervia’s traditions for more than fifty years. Here, among the scents of piadina and the warmth of a convivial atmosphere, thousands of people have been able to rediscover the authentic flavors of the cuisine of yesteryear. A welcoming place, loved by tourists and residents alike, it marked the Battistini family’s first step into the world of catering.
A few years later the journey continued with Il Moro, a restaurant that celebrates Romagna cuisine in a jovial yet familiar atmosphere. With the new management, a place that expresses family warmth takes shape, where every dish tells a story, every detail speaks of hospitality, and every encounter becomes a memory to take with you.
In 2013, the thread of tradition was intertwined with a new adventure: the desire to bring to the tables products that are always fresh and genuine led to the birth of Pastificio Battistini. Born as an artisan workshop to supply the family restaurants, it soon opened to the public as well, becoming the home of fresh pasta. From tagliatelle to stuffed pastas to the famous Cappelletto Battistini, each sheet of pasta is the fruit of expert hands and a passion that knows no hurry.
The pasta factory has thus become a point of reference for those looking for fresh artisanal pasta, made with selected ingredients and according to the ancient traditions of Romagna.
Today the Battistini Group is the symbol of a family that has chosen to grow while remaining true to its values: respect for its roots, love for a job well done, and the desire to offer sincere emotions to those who sit at the table.
